What is a CSA?

"Community Supported Agriculture consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes, either legally or spiritually, the community's farm, with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production"

In our CSA models, you will pay the upfront cost for a certain number of weeks of farm goods and we will provide you with weekly reoccurring pickups for our farm goods like our vegetables, flowers, and yeast breads for the weeks you have signed up. By purchasing your CSA share upfront we are able to offer you better discounts than we would in the store. You can purchase multiple shares or different types, mix and match however is best for YOU.

Can I use my loyalty card to receive additional discounts or points for my CSA?

Your loyalty card cannot be used for additional discounts or accumulating points from the CSA purchase. Although the price of a CSA can be large at first, it is a one-time cost and you will end up receiving a great deal for our bread, flowers, and vegetables. You can sign up for as many CSAs as you would like!

How do I pick up my CSA?

Come to the farm on your designated pick-up day for the extent of your share time length. When you arrive at the farm pull up to our Vegetable barn (the building behind our farmstand) and check-in with the CSA attendant. We will collect your name and retrieve your farm share for you to collect. You can then exit out our back entrance by our windmill.

Can I pick up my CSA share outside of the designated pickup time or spot (Farmer's Market, etc)?

CSA shares must be picked up at the farm on your designated pickup day. If you cannot pick up your share because of extenuating circumstances, you can reach out to us and we will hold CSAs at the farm for next-day pickup. We will not be able to offer pickup at the Farmer's Market or other locations at this time. We will hold your share until the next day at noon if you miss your pickup. Past that point your share will be donated

Can I buy multiple CSAs?

Yes! You can buy as many shares as you like. Multiple quantities of a farm, bread, cheese and/or flower shares can be purchased at sign up and you can mix and match whatever shares are best for you. You can add them to your cart and checkout

Can I choose my pickup day?

Yes! You can choose to pickup either Tuesday between 3-6pm or Friday between 3-6pm. If you miss your pickup or cannot make these pickup times we will hold your share until the next day at noon. Past that point your share will be donated

Can I skip a week in my CSA or postpone my CSA for another week?

Each customer receives 2 skips throughout the season that can be added consecutively at the end of their share (provided minimum of 1 week forewarning.) The CSA pick-ups must be consecutive. You are welcome to have someone else pick up your share. Your assigned pick ups are firm and cannot be moved.

What can I expect in my Vegetable CSA?

You will receive a variety of seasonal produce grown by our hardworking Morning Glory Farm team. Each farm share will include herbs, greens, roots, seasonal veggies and all the fresh produce you need to fill your fridge. Throughout the season with our CSA you will have the opportunity to try the vegetables in the changing season. We will provide recipes and suggestions throughout the season.

Here are some examples of this past year's CSA. These are all full share sizes. Half share would be approximately half of any of these examples



What do I do if I have an issue, receive the wrong share, or I am missing products?

Email us to let us know at wholesale@morninggloryfarm.com to figure out the best solution. We are not accepting any products back but can issue replacements or even refunds for extenuating circumstances.
